When preparing for a new baby, creating a cozy and peaceful space for yourself and your little one proves essential. Your first cherished memories and moments at home will be inside your nursery. Every new mom wants a space where her child instantly feels warm, comfortable, and safe—fabulous, on-trend decor isn’t bad either! Enter Carousel Designs: they created their Nursery Designer, a virtual design service, to allow you to design your child’s crib so that your nursery becomes a beautiful and custom space.

The Carousel Designs Nursery Designer tool offers expectant parents endless options for designing and creating a nursery. Just try not to have fun using it! With more than 400 fabrics to choose from, the interactive website allows you to select a crib skirt and bumper style, while mixing and matching fabric choices as you go. You can even customize the surrounding room to see how the bedding would look with your crib finish, flooring and even the color of your walls (choose from any number of Benjamin Moore paint colors). Carousel Designs has truly created an all-encompassing virtual design tool to allow you to craft a personalized and comfortable nursery for your new baby.

It’s easy to spend hours on this site, mixing and matching the hundreds of options, finishes, and wall colors. Carousel Designs also offers a Nursery Designer mobile app, so when you are shopping for furniture and finishing touches for the nursery, you will have your designs and color schemes right at your fingertips.

Having just had my third child, I was at a loss as to how to decorate her room. The linens I used for the other two kids had seen better days. I wanted something fun and unique to help make my daughter’s room feel like her own. The nursery had previously been the guest room and I hadn’t put any time or effort into decorating. When I was given the opportunity to work with Carousel Designs, I jumped at the chance!

The online Nursery Designer tool is like nothing I have ever seen. With this being my third child, I have seen a lot! It made choosing the linens so much fun, not to mention easy. I customized the tool with the crib finish, flooring and even the Benjamin Moore paint color I already had in the room. I was then able to add linens to match from Carousel Designs’ hundreds of choices and styles. Once I made a selection or two, the tool suggested complimenting fabric and even told me when one of the linens I chose didn’t match those I had already selected. For example, if two fabrics have yellow in them, but they aren’t the same shade, the tool will tell you!

Once I had made my selections I was able to email my design to my mom and my girlfriends to get their opinion. Then I submitted my choices and received the fabric swatches in the mail just a few days later. Being able to see and touch the fabrics made such a difference. The fabrics were high quality and even more beautiful then I could have imagined. I compared them to my rug and glider to make sure everything would coordinate. After making my final selections and placing my order I received my linens a few weeks later. They are well made and look amazing! It’s exactly what I needed to make my daughter’s crib the focal point of the room. Carousel Designs was even able to send me additional fabric so I can make a pillow for my glider to pull everything together.
