I love kitchen items that promote healthy and safe cooking, and that make the process of food preparation more seamless. We were excited to learn about the Twizztt collection of kitchenware, designed by Joan Lunden. The Twiztt product line is exclusive to Bed Bath & Beyond and includes items such as a sear and roast pan, a frying pan, and their Cook Strain and Serve collection that’s great for sauces. These items use Thermolon non-stick coating for safe, healthy and stress-free at-home cooking. We love that Joan Lunden, a busy mom and health and wellness advocate, is behind these products, too!
We had the chance to review the Cut, Cook & Serve four-piece set, which includes a skillet with healthy ceramic non-stick cooking, stainless steel lid for venting, melamine bowl for ideal stove-to-table presentation, and a bamboo chopping board that fits perfectly over the melamine bowl, making it easy to chop and collect food for preparation. I love that this set can be stacked together in a compact manner, making storage a snap!
This product cooked quickly and evenly, due to the stainless steel materials offer an extra thick base, and aluminum core that provides even heat distribution. I loved that I was able to chop my veggies on the bamboo board, slide them in to the pan without the risk of half the items landing on the counter!
The melamine bowl is one of my favorite items in this collection. Not only does it pair so well with the chopping board since you can literally chop on top of it and slide your ingredients into the bowl, but it also keeps food warm for skillet-to-table presentation. It’s colorful and versatile as well! I’ve used it as a salad bowl and I’m sure it would be perfect as a popcorn bowl during in-home movie nights.
