Welcome!
I’m so happy you stopped by. In this space I hope to share with you my current musings in the fashion and lifestyle categories. Like many, I’m inspired by my surroundings and am like a little magpie stealing looks from whatever shiny thing catches my eye that week.
Currently in Boston we’re working hard on “melting”. As I’m sure you’ve heard we were pummeled with snow this past winter and it’s a small miracle to see a street corner without any snow on it these days. Just like the city I live in, I too am working on “melting” my winter layers and am embracing the warmth that’s surely not too far in the future.
I typically run cold and always need socks and sweaters (and more sweaters) to get me through the sub-zero temperatures, so I’ve been making big changes like sporting flats, with no socks (yes that’s a big change!). I’ve also mostly gone down to one layer on top but continue to wear thicker-weighted materials.
This outfit is very typical of what I like to wear, the nautical stripes are an easy go-to for me, and I like to accessorize with some simple jewelry and a fun shoe, leopard print flats in this instance. I’ve also been in a very long gold “phase” and tend to wear gold jewelry like my necklace and bracelet featured in these photos. A few daily staples are my Marc Jacobs watch and gold stud earrings I got at a church rummage sale – great place for spotting unique finds.
How have you been transitioning to spring?
