Parents want the very best for our children. So when three Los Angeles-based emergency room doctors (and Moms), chatted about the quality of home remedy and first aid kits available to consumers versus the ones they as medical personnel use in hospitals, they recognized a huge gap. Each admitted they’d prefer to use hospital-grade supplies and remedies for their children over basic supplies available to everyday parents. They negotiated deals with medical suppliers to get the highest grade supplies they use daily in the ER and would make the list of things they would love to steal from work (our words, not theirs!).
They just launched their company Three Mommy Doctors. Use-at-home kits called “Babystat” and “Kidstat” include trouble-shooting instructions and hospital-grade illness and injury supplies. For instance, the Babystat kit’s “Ouchy,” “Cranky,” and “Yucky” sections offer remedies for rashes and fevers, gas, teething and fatigue, and congestion and hygiene. With full-sized products rather than sample sizes, these kits take care of little ones for the long haul for between $75 and $85. Three Mommy Doctors will save parents numerous unnecessary hours spent in the E.R. or urgent care, and offer up both expert, picture-driven advice along with top line first aid kit supplies to turn to for all those inevitable first aid moments of raising kids.
