Disclosure: Mom Central received a BABYBJÖRN Diaper Bag SOFO to facilitate this review. All opinions are our own.
When it comes to a diaper bag, we all start with the best of intentions to keep it organized and manageable, but after a couple of outings, the opposite occurs. By the end of the week, my diaper bag is filled to capacity in a messy dump of extra clothes, diapers, pacifiers, toys, and more. And let’s face it, a bunch of my own personal items too! That’s why I felt thrilled at the opportunity to test out the new Diaper Bag SOFO from BABYBJÖRN. Its numerous pockets really drove the design, making it nearly impossible to stray from organization.
The Diaper Bag SOFO lived up to my expectations. As I mentioned, this bag has a lot of pockets. That sounds great, but if not executed well, I find that too many pockets actually contribute to more mess. Not the case with this bag. I especially liked the numerous, roomy compartments along the outside of the bag. I found that this is where I kept my own personal items – wallet, lip gloss, cell phone, sunglasses; along with quick grab items for my daughter Chloe – pacifiers and a few favorite toys. A machine-washable changing pad is also included in its own separate compartment, complete with magnetic closure. The pad, made with soft Oeko-Tex® fabric, meets the highest criteria for fabric free from allergens and hazardous substances.
The Diaper Bag SOFO also proves very versatile in terms of look and function. I carried it as a tote bag, shoulder bag, backpack, and hung it from my stroller. The gray color also creates a more gender-neutral feel. I know my husband appreciates that when he needs to carry around the bag.
I am a big fan of BABYBJÖRN carriers, so I am very pleased to see that quality and ease of use comes through in their other products. The materials used feel high-end, look sleek, and I feel great knowing that a reputable brand like BABYBJÖRN is behind this functional bag.
