On May 25th of this year my beloved Boston Red Sox lost their 10th game in a row. The bearded warriors were only a few months removed from a World Series title but were slowly spiraling out of control. Flashbacks of the 2012 season hit me like a ton of bricks and I found myself breaking out in cold sweats frequent and often.
The boys of summer were in need of spark, some positive mojo. I began questioning my day-to-day routine; maybe it was something I did to cause such a tremulous fall from grace. As I stepped out of the shower one fateful morning and wiped the condensation from the mirror, I had what some people call a eureka moment. Such moments I thought were only reserved for the likes of Einstein and thermonuclear rocket scientists. My face! More exactly, my beard! I hadn’t shaved since the losing streak began.
My beard was on track to become the next Curse of the Great Bambino and there was no chance I was going to wait another 90 years to be World Series champs. The beard had to go and the Phillips Norelco Shaver 8800 was my only shot at reversing the curse.
The Phillips Norelco Shaver 8800 features the GyroFlex 3D contouring system. This system has three UltraTrack heads that move freely from one another allowing for an incredibly close shave that glides along the outline of your jaw. Thanks to the AquaTec seal, you can shave comfortably while dry or wet shave with shaving cream.
The most eye-catching part of the Phillips Norelco Shaver 8800 has got to be the advanced SensoTouch 3d touch-control display. Beautiful and futuristic, this displays shows the remaining battery life as well as the charging status. The lithium-ion battery charges in one hour and allows up to sixty minutes of shave time. Oh, and it also has replacement-head indicator so you never have to worry about a dull head irritating your skin.
A problem I have with a lot of electric razors comes in the sideburns department. They never allowed me to precisely square off my sideburns. I would have to switch over to my standard razorblade to get the trim I desired. But, I flipped over the Phillips Norelco Shaver and lo and behold the answer to my problems, a precision trimmer! Finally, I could get the clean shave and precise trim I need without swapping back and forth between razors.
Clean-shaven, I could feel the magic in the air and guess what happened? The Red Sox would go on a seven game winning streak! Now I’m not saying there was some sort of correlation between the Red Sox winning-streak and my now beardless face but, there definitely was.
Whether your team needs a mojo boost or your just looking for a high quality shaver, I would strongly recommend the Phillips Norelco Shaver 8800. Check it out and purchase it here for $249.99.
